Jaguar X-Type // Protection Detail

Описание: This 2009 Jaguar X-Type had our Winter Protection Detail today! Meaning that all exterior surfaces including paintwork, chrome trim, alloys, glass, plastics and rubber are all protected for the upcoming Winter elements.

This Jaguar Racing Green paint came up amazing after around 7 hours of work. Myself and the client were both extremely happy with the results which is great!

Our Winter Protection Detail includes:

-Wheel arches cleaned
-Tyres and alloys cleaned to remove road grime and brake dust
Wash entire car using pH neutral car shampoo using a 2-bucket-method system with grit guards in the buckets to stop dirt being applied back onto the cars paint - also using a microfibre mitt
-Chemical decontamination to remove iron filings that are embedded in your cars clear coat
-Clay bar the paintwork and glass to remove all other embedded contaminants such as tree sap and road tar
-Dried using a microfibre drying towel
-Hand Polish the car's paintwork to enhance the glaze, making your paintwork 'pop'
-Hand apply a strong wax protectant which will last from 6-12 months, providing vital protection from the Winter conditions as well as filling in some minor swirl marks
-Use a detailing spray to remove any left over wax residue and to add another layer of protection
-Hand apply a strong wax to the alloys which can withstand heat over 250°C, this will make the alloys look like new and also provide protection from the daily grime from the roads
-Add a quality glass sealant to all exterior glass, helpful especially on the window screen as water will bead off after speeds of 20MPH
-Restore and protect plastic and rubber trim using a gel trim restorer to bring back the factory black
-Restore plastic wheel arches if plastic
-Light vacuum of the carpets, mats, dash and door cards
-Wipe down all surfaces - focusing on highly touched areas
