Professor Kingsley Dixon is a botanist who was the Foundation Director of Science at Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth, Western Australia. Now a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at Perth’s Curtin University, he leads an active research team in the conservation and restoration sciences. Here he reveals the rate of degradation from human activities, impacting the unique, globally-significant biodiversity in the Southwest of the Australian continent.
