Bharat belongs to a family of Marwari Merchants from Kolkata. After completing his post-graduation in Financial Accounting in Singapore, he returned to India and 2006 entered stock stock market with IPOs.His father borrowed 10 lakh rupees to invest in IPOs.Throughout 2006 and 2007, Bharat kept investing in IPO; by chance, all of them were big hits.

Bharat almost got a 50% return on his investment which made him delusional that he knows everything about the stock market and then started investing in the secondary market. He invested in stocks like Reliance Communication, Jai Corp, Bajaj Hindustan etc and got massive profits. From there he thought of becoming a full-time trader, but the 2008 crisis happened. All of his portfolio nose-dived and then he made the mistake of averaging and buying at dips.

But due to all this mess, he lost his whole capital and he learnt a lesson in the hard way that the market is not easy at all. Stocks kept falling and he sold his portfolio at a loss of approx 7 lakhs. In 2009 he tried to recover his losses and fall into the hands of top providers. There he lost a big chunk of money too and at the end of the year 2009 after the recommendation of his friends
