Marrying Venti~ [Genshin ASMR Roleplay] Listener x Venti [Romantic]

It's finally here. After working on this script for almost 2 years, it's finally here!!

I'm so sorry it took so long to get this to you~ No amount of explanation excuses why it took me so long to finish writing this script, aside from the fact that for this script i really, really, reeeaaallly wanted to take my time with it. I didn't want to rush a script that i cared so much about. I know it took waaay longer than any of us hoped, but i hope at the very least it's not disappointing...~ ^^;

I remember sitting down and researching lots of different wedding ideas, wedding concepts and wedding traditions throughout the world during the writing process for this audio...regardless of nation or culture, weddings are always so beautiful...but there's literally thousands of different ways for a couple to wed, and for a long time, i wasn't sure how to execute this audio. Did you know that there are some small towns in Germany where it's a tradition for friends of the soon-to-be-wed couple to affectionately kidnap one of them (usually the bride) and hide them somewhere in town and the other fiance has to find them? Because i know that now! xD There's so many fun wedding traditions all over the world!

I think most people assumed that the eventual wedding audio that i wrote would be a traditionally western-world leaning wedding like in a church...and the Mondstadt cathedral IS INDEED right there...that probably would have been the easiest idea to run with, honestly! But at some point after sifting through countless wedding traditions and giving it lots of thought, i realized Venti would probably want to do all of them... ^^;

Ok, so back to square one. Which one to do first? But then it hit me. Suddenly the idea that i had paid the least attention to suddenly seemed to be the one most overwhelmingly obvious. After trying to decide what the “first” wedding would look like, and thinking over Venti's thought process and character, it became so blindingly clear that i couldn't believe I hadn't considered it sooner! I was sitting at my desk and suddenly it hit me... “huh...Venti's going to want to elope, isn't he?” xD

Eloping aside, I know this type of wedding does not adhere to any one particular tradition, and because of that, might come off as lackluster or boring to some...i hope you find some form of enjoyment in this audio at least...!

Sure, i'm a Genshin fan, I'm a hobbyist creator, i'm a weird girl in her room with a microphone, but at my core, i think i am constantly and desperately trying to write a story here that captures the emotion that i view as “true love”.
Love is a term that is tossed around an applied to countless different situations. I often abhor the English language specifically for really only having one word for “love” in the practical sense. For instance, i can truthfully claim to love my friends while also stating that i love waffle fries, and there's no clear linguistic way to differentiate how my love for my dearest confidants differs from my appreciation for deep-fried potatoes...

But even with romantic love, “love” means so many different things to different people. Some equate love to a loud and passionate obsession, while some define it as a quiet and calm understanding. There's no wrong or right answer for this shapeless force that seems to propel so many of us forward, but the deepest part of me simply wanted to write a story depicting as closely as possible my own definition of “love” between two parties. I hope i did ok...i really did do my best!

Am i out of my depth trying to capture this story when i myself am not in a relationship? Absolutely. But I loved every second of it!

If someone told me 3 years ago that i would be making feature-length asmr roleplay audios about a video game character, i would have said "...yeah, that sounds like something wacky enough for me to do" xD

I may only make these stories for fun in my free time, but i genuinely hope that in this audio you were able to feel how Venti feels about you. I did my best to convey it, but i also know it's very possible that i fell short...i'm still learning how to do this, even after all this time!
I know that a lot of you have been waiting a while for this specific audio...over a year, and maybe longer, and while i deeply apologize for taking so long to write this, i really hope it did not disappoint any exceptions you may have built up over the past several months~

This is NOT the end of the series, and I hope you'll look forward to the next audio!
And having said that...do you want a honeymoon audio...? :3
