Not all water problems in any car will be the same - every car is different - spend time to find what is causing the problem.
On a dry day with the car mopped out - use a hose pipe and wet the car then see where is coming from - use newspaper inside the car and see whats damp & where.
On our car - it seemed that water was either running down the body work and sweeping behind the air vents or what we thing being pulled back in.
Anyway - we fixed the problem and have tested it in severe rain on very wet roads.
