Описание: WASHINGTON — The 2025 Joint Base Andrews Air Show is set to return Sept. 13 to 14, bringing high-flying action back to the Washington, D.C. region. The free, two-day event will feature military and civilian aerial demonstrations, static displays and exhibits for families at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. Organizers said this year’s show will celebrate the evolution of airpower while showcasing current U.S. military aviation capabilities.

Scheduled performers include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team, the U.S. Naval Academy Parachute Team, the F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team, and the C-17 Demo Team.

Ahead of the air show, the Thunderbirds are scheduled to fly over the National Mall on Friday, at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Officials said six Thunderbird aircraft will fly in formation with a seventh capturing photos. A C-17 will join the formation around 8:45 a.m. before all aircraft depart no later than 8:55 a.m.

The Joint Base Andrews Air Show will also highlight STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) exhibits, military band performances and honor guard presentations.


The 2025 Joint Base Andrews Air Show is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, and Sunday, September 14. General admission is free and no tickets are required for the public.

Dates and times: The gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

Parking and traffic information
Public parking: Free public parking with shuttle service is available at Northwest Stadium, with shuttles running from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and returning until 5 p.m..
On-base parking: On-base parking is for DoD cardholders only.
Traffic Advisory: Expect increased traffic and temporary closures on Suitland Parkway.

Friday, Sept. 12: This day is reserved for Department of Defense personnel and students attending STEAM Day.
