The Akai Force is a great groovebox with a fantastic sequencer, but also a wonderful device for sound design.
In a previous video I created a bass patch on the Digitakt from just some static clicks and pops. I have since sold the Digitakt and bought the Akai Force instead. I wanted to see if the Akai Force was able to loop and play single cycle waveforms as well (and it can) and create similar sounds to the Digitakt. The Akai Force currently has four synth expansions, but with this technique it really has five synths to choose from.
