Hey, here we are in Vancouver where we’re working on a three-storey home. This project includes two basements—one starting now and the other roughed in—and two upper floors where the primary residence will be. It’s designed for three families.

Right behind me, we’re framing the laneway house, and it’s one of the best designs Jacqueline has done. Our crews are putting on a shed roof to stay within height restrictions since we had to choose that over engineered trusses. It’s coming together well and meeting all requirements.

Sam, Noah, and Vishu have been working hard — the roof was delivered yesterday, and the PJs were installed today. We’re prepping for ventilation strapping and aiming to have the roof water-protected by Monday, weather permitting. Fall protection is in place and everyone is tied off safely.

We’ll keep you updated as the framing finishes and we move on to the interior and exterior finishes.
