2015-2020 Honda Fit 1.5L HPS Intake Install

Описание: Get more out of your 2015-2020 Honda Fit by installing an HPS Performance Air Intake System PN# 827-704. Our dyno proven intake system produces an additional xx HP and xx LB-FT torque.

Tools required:
10mm socket
8mm socket
5.5mm socket
Phillips head screwdriver
Flat head screwdriver
Needle nosed pliers

WARNING:
Removal of coolant hoses is required for this installation. Serious injury may occur. Make sure the engine and cooling system is completely cooled before proceeding.

To avoid accidental shorting and to reset the ECU, disconnect the negative battery cable before beginning installation .

1. Disconnect and unclip the MAF sensor harness from the upper air box.
2. Disconnect the breather tube from the stock intake elbow.
3. Loosen the clamp on the throttle body using a phillips head screwdriver or a 5.5mm socket.
4. Unbuckle and remove the upper air box from the vehicle.
5. Remove the air filter from the lower air box
6. Use a 10mm socket to loosen 2 bolts at the rear of the lower air box.
7. Disconnect the intake elbow and front air scoop to remove the lower air box from the engine bay.
8. Disconnect the coolant bypass hose below the throttle body.
9. Trace the coolant bypass tube to the rear of the engine and disconnect the hose from the bypass tube.
10. Disconnect the breather hard line from the breather hose.
11. Remove the bypass tube from the engine bay.
12. Connect the small brass fitting to the provided 1/4" hose and secure it using the provided #11 clamp.
13. Connect the brass barb to the stock coolant hose at the rear of the engine and secure it using the stock clamp.
14. Connect the opposite end of the 1/4" hose onto the nipple under the throttle body and secure it with a #11 clamp.
15. Install the large brass fitting into the stock breather hose and secure with the original clamp.
16. Install the provided breather hose onto the brass fitting and secure it with a provided clamp.
17. Attach the silicone coupler onto the throttle body and fasten the T-bolt clamp to 15 in-lb.
18. Install edge trim along the edge of the heat shield then install the 2 brackets onto the heat shield with the included hardware.
19. Place the heat shield into position and install a bolt onto the side mounting bracket to secure it to the vehicle.
20. Transfer the MAF sensor from the stock air box to the HPS intake pipe. You may reuse the original screws to fasten.
21. Install the air filter onto the intake pipe.
22. Install the rubber vibration mount onto the threaded bung on the intake pipe.
23. Install the intake pipe onto the throttle body coupler and position the vibration mount onto the L bracket on the heat shield. Use the provided nut and washer to secure it.
24. Tighten the T-bolt clamp onto the intake pipe.
25. Connect the breather hose onto the intake pipe and fasten the remaining clamp.
