The National Financial Literacy Program for Youth in collaboration with the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund and Deaf Reach has converted its Financial Literacy Storybook “Anaar ka Darakht” into sign language, to impart financial education among deaf children and youth. Our beautifully illustrated storybook for children aged between 9-12 years is divided into three sections namely; Anaar ka Darakht, Khait se Dukan Tak, and Anaar ka Baagh. Each section serves an important part in helping students learn and understand financial literacy from the scratch.
This video covers section three of the book: Anaar ka Baagh. Expanding on the concepts such that income and sources of income, this section of the storybook will teach you to calculate profit or loss and will introduce you to the concepts like safe borrowing and mark-up. This video will help you decide between various options to consider in case of any emergence or fund shortage for starting a business.
