Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery Systems ( MVHR ) are becoming increasingly popular in all newbuild houses. The System works by removing the hot air from rooms that are above the set temperature drawing fresh filtered air in from outside and mixing the air with the heat and placing that warmed fresh air into a room where the temperature is below what you have set it at. Registers are placed in rooms to control the temperature of each room. This Heat recovery system No trickle vents are required in the windows unlike the central extract units.
