Review : Demo : Marc Jacobs 'The Dreamer' Style Eye-Con No.7 Palette Fall 2014

Arrr I tried a diff focus setting on my camera... wasn't a good choice lol... sorry for the bit of blur :( Also, MEET PHOEBE! My Munchkin... I'll haul her in my next haul vid :D:D:D

I really like how this palette performed both days that I used it, it was blendable and buildable, the colors were pigmented and smooth and not overly powdery and I didn't have any fall-out on my face both days! Now with that being said the palette is lacking some form of transition color... with a matte brown as dark as it is everything in the palette is too light and/or reflective to be able to blend out the deep color smoothly... so I had to fade the dark up into the light after each shade was placed, it worked out fine and I liked both looks, but it is something to make note of. Also the metallic shade I used on my lid did transfer up through the crease, but this happens to me with any shade that is that metallic when I place it on my lid, as is the nature of super metallic shadows for me, and also they are some opaque metallics! That one metallic really covered up a lot of the depth that the brown had when I first put it on. One more thing, although the quality is lovely, the actual colors are very dupable and I hadn't found anything particularly unique about the them, so if you are a big neutral eyeshadow lover I think you may have shades very close to these already in your collection... but if your like me... that doesn't stop ya!
