On February 21, coinciding with the Orchid and Tropical Plant Show, visitors wandered through the fragrant orchid displays to reach our booth. From 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, guests of all ages streamed in, lingered to browse, and raved about the over 200 Chinese original picture books on exhibit.
Co-hosted by CASTP （The Chinese Association for Science and Technology-Pittsburgh Chapter）and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the Lunar New Year celebration welcomed over 3,000 attendees. Guests enjoyed authentic Chinese cultural performances—including dragon and lion dances, ethnic dances, folk music, and martial arts—and participated in hands-on experiences with traditional cuisine and crafts, fully immersing themselves in the joyful Spring Festival atmosphere.
2026中文原创图画书亮相匹兹堡Phipps植物园回顾：
2月21日恰逢园内兰花和热带植物展，穿过幽香的兰花丛，就到我们的展台了。早9点到下午5点，男女老少络绎不绝地来到我们的展位前驻足翻阅，对此次展示的200多本中文原创图画书赞不绝口。
本次春节活动由CASTP（旅美科技协会匹兹堡分会）和Phipps温室与植物园联合主办，3000多位美国民众走进植物园，观赏舞龙舞狮、民族舞、民乐、武术等中华文化表演，体验传统美食、手工制作等技艺，沉浸在春节喜气氛围中。
