Performing for special needs kids is just one thing the two 2019 Anthro Northwest Guests of Honor are known for in the Furry community. When asked about being part of a private meet & greet for one of their fans, these two lions didn't have to think twice about it, given the fact that Kitwana is actually a special needs fursuiter himself. Witness as we and Anthro Northwest's mascot, Andy, meet Astro, a girl bravely battling Type 1 Neurofibromatosis, which doesn't stop her from performing a cute costume and making not only her mother very proud of it. As both Kitwana and Kijani are avid collectors of The Lion King merchandise, we made sure we had an appropriate gift ready for her!
