Berlin Zoo presents panda cubs to public for first time | ABS-CBN News

Описание: A panda cub born around six weeks ago at Berlin Zoo was shown to the public for the first time on Tuesday (October 15).

The panda was protected from noise by thick glass, having opened its eyes for the first time barely a week ago.

"What is so important is that these are bridge makers, heart openers. And if you see these tiny little cubs, of course, even my heart is always warming when I see them," said the director of Berlin Zoo, Andreas Knieriem.

The female cub and her twin sister were the second offspring of panda Meng Meng who also gave birth in 2019 to two male twins who were the first giant pandas born in Germany.
