In this video, I break down BPJ v. West Virginia and the larger debate surrounding trans athletes in women’s sports. I don’t approach this from a place of hate or blind activism—but from reality, history, and fairness.
I explain why wanting to be treated “normal” doesn’t automatically make things equal, and why major social change has never come without struggle, loss, or uncomfortable transitions. As Black Americans, we didn’t gain access to white leagues by demanding inclusion alone—we built our own, made noise, and forced the system to respond.
I also address the claim that puberty blockers erase male athletic advantage, and why I believe biology—by design—still matters, regardless of intent. The law, in my view, is not anti-trans, but protective of women’s sports, and that distinction gets ignored far too often.
