I went to Budhwar Peth, Pune - India's 3rd largest red light area, right next to the famous Dagdu Seth Mandir.

What I discovered changed everything I thought I knew:
Streets named after s*x workers, yet society pretends they don't exist
A mother who passed 10th grade after 20 years, now preparing for 12th
Police violence so brutal, one woman was r*ped by 30+ officers in a single night
Rooms filled with pink walls, roses in buckets, and carefully grown plants
17-year-long relationships between workers and their regular customers
Women who say "My Body, My Choice" while the system calls them criminals

This video isn't a rescue story - it's about respect. You'll see women who aren't asking for pity. They're demanding what we all deserve: to be seen as people first, not judged by their profession.

They did my makeup. We shared meals. We talked about life, dreams, and the violence that society refuses to acknowledge.

Through videos like this, I show you communities that exist in the shadows - not to sensationalize, but to humanize.
