Those who are familiar with the original will probably remember the famous phrase in the cemetery, spoken by one of the characters: "They're coming for you, Barbara!" This phrase is also present here, as the plot is very similar to Romero's film. The adaptation is quite accurate, which demonstrates respect for the classic, but it also ensures that those familiar with the 1968 film will not be surprised by the plot twists. However, there are still some differences. To briefly recall the unfolding events, one day Barbara and Johnny (brother and sister) went to the cemetery to visit the grave of the uncle, and there they encountered the undead. Barbara managed to escape and hide in a house nearby, and a little later Ben (Mickey Mouse) joined her. Ready to defend themselves, they are surprised to find that all this time in the basement of the house were hiding the Coopers (the head of the family Harry, his wife Helen and sick daughter Karen), as well as Tom with cousin Jenny.
