The US treasury yield rose 5 basis points on September 27 to 4.61% which is the highest level seen since 2007. It has been hovering around that mark since then climbing again on October 2. The uptick has left traders worrying about inflation and the possibility of more rate hikes by the Fed in the future. Two weeks ago, the Fed indicated the interest rates would continue to rise and will remain elevated for a prolonged period.
