This heirloom engagement ring featured a moss agate center stone that was glued into place, set too high, and already breaking down. Because the mounting was extremely thin and reinforced with laser welds, removing the stone required extreme precision to avoid melting or damaging the ring.
We preserved the original moss agate and rebuilt the ring with a low-profile green sapphire that can withstand daily wear. This is why gemstone choice and setting design matter more than most people realize.
