WHY THIS DRAG BIKE CLASS IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR WITH RACERS! FAST 4.60 MOTORCYCLE DRAG RACING

Описание: Enjoy this close look at one of the fastest growing classes in all of Motorcycle drag racing, the Man Cup Ultra 4.60 sportsman index class! The fast index class for drag bike racers used to be 8.20 Top Gas, a group of ultra fast racers who were just a bit too far behind to run low 4s and 3s in Pro Mod, formed this exciting 4.60 1/8th Mile class. The goal is to cut a light and beat your opponent to the 660 foot mark without going under 4.60 - that’s the handicap that keeps things equal.

In this clip we watch some of the best racers in the world battle. First up it’s Ralph Medrano of Davie, Fla in the near lane up against the Suzuki of Broderick Jackson of Decatur, Ga. Then we watch two of the very best in the class as former NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle racer George Babor lines his Suzuki GSXR up against the brand new drag bike of defending champion and fellow PSM alum Tony Mullen. Then it’s time for the big man, newcomer Mike Murphy of Lewisburg, Tenn on a former Eric McKinney Pro Mod to battle John “Butch” Schwartz of Team Fast by Gast on his Kawasaki KZ. Mike Lingo of Cottonwood, Ala. then opposes Brody Grothus of Team Grothus Drag Bikes. Mike Chongrid of Eastlake, Ohio and Terry Dunbar of Hephzibah, Ga round out the session in this fun and growing class. It’s a great class for the manufactures too, as it takes many good parts to run this quick.
