I was shocked they aired this…until I saw it was a MAHA commercial.
This commercial uses shame and fatphobia to promote the idea of eating less processed foods.
Terrible way to communicate this.
I feel sorry for Mike believing he was nasty when he was fat, as he’s just as much a victim to fatphobia as the rest of society is.
The amount of fat someone wears does not directly correlate to health or the quality of one’s diet.
You can gain weight eating only “processed food” or only “real food.”
MAHA attempts to shame people into change and chooses to ignore highlighting systemic changes that would actually improve our country’s health.
