Dubai Racing Carnival Week Three Preview: Tips for Friday's action, featuring the Al Garhoud Sprint

Описание: Commentator Pat Comerford looks ahead to week three of the Dubai Racing Carnival at Meydan with his race-by-race guide.

The eight-race card features the Listed Al Garhoud Sprint Sponsored by Al Tayer which features Golden Shaheen winner Dark Saffron.

Charlie Appleby had his first winner on the Meydan dirt since 2018 when Devon Island won at the last meeting and he saddles Ruler Of Time in the Lincoln Maiden earlier on the card. The son of Not This Time has been gelded following two runner-up efforts in Britain, including when finishing behind subsequent Dewhurst winner Gewan.

Nakheel Stakes which includes the Jamie Osborne-trained Heart Of Honor. A dual winner at the track last term, he went on to run in both the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes. He takes on the equally progressive Galactic Star for Dubai World Cup winning trainer Bhupat Seemar.

Elsewhere on the card, Godolphin saddle Devon Island in the Palm Central Maiden Stakes. The €650,000 buy was second on his debut at Kempton.
