Audio recording notes: Piano recorded tracked in five takes on a K. Kawai baby grand piano; strings tracked, but minimally edited, all strings recorded in 90 minutes total in the same room as the video (but not on the wood floor). Piano recorded on April 19th, 2018; strings recorded on April 24th, 2018 in Los Angeles, CA. (Keyboard is intentionally not plugged in as I’m not really trying to front that we’re playing live. Just miming to what I’d prerecorded on the piano live. Just like RHCP played the Super Bowl halftime show unplugged on purpose since they were prerecorded.)
