Utipoia Falls (aka Waterfall Creek Falls) is located in the Mount Walsh National Park, inland from Maryborough and Howard. Even if you don't want to swim, the walk is beautiful, passing through dry rainforest and moist gullies, and is only 3 km return (Grade 4).
We stayed in at Gun Tree Bush Camp (over 50's camp) to visit the falls and loved swimming in the refreshing pools.
We then moved to Agnes Waters, staying at the Agnes Waters NRMA camp. Although the weather wasn't kind to us, we enjoyed walking the Tea Tree walk, visiting a turtle-hatching area at Red Rock Beach, and exploring 1770. Unfortunately, we lost some of our footage.
