Today, we are exploring the heart of Kashmir—the beautiful city of Srinagar. From the serene waters of Dal Lake to the modern cafes in the city, this vlog is all about the authentic Kashmiri experience.
📍 What we explored today:
Dal Lake: We started our morning with a peaceful Shikara ride. I’m sharing all the details about the floating gardens (Rad), the famous houseboats, and what it’s actually like to live on the water.
Hazratbal Shrine: Next, we visited the stunning white marble Dargah Hazratbal. This place is incredibly peaceful and houses the Moi-e-Muqqadas (a sacred relic of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). The views of the lake from here are unmatched!
Srinagar City Mall: We took a break from the traditional sights to see the modern side of the city. A quick walk through the City Mall to see the local vibe and shopping scene.
The Cherry Cafe: To end the day, we headed to Cherry Cafe in Regal Chowk. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food and a "hip" atmosphere in Srinagar, this is it! (Highly recommend their coffee and snacks).
