Classic Christmas Stollen with marzipan, dried fruits, and nuts —
a traditional European holiday bread, soft, aromatic, and full of warm spices.
In this video, I’m sharing my family’s favorite Christmas Stollen recipe,
made with dried pears, candied citrus peel, almond flour, and a rich marzipan filling.
For deeper flavor, I like to soak the fruits in a little rum —
but orange juice works beautifully as well.
This Stollen is baked slowly, brushed with melted butter,
and finished with powdered sugar — just as it should be.
Perfect for Christmas mornings, holiday gatherings,
or as a homemade edible gift.

All INGREDIENTS:
1. Dried Pears:
1 pear
500 ml water
100 g sugar
1/2 tsp citric acid
2. Fruit and Nuts mix:
60 g candied orange peel
30 g candied lemon peel
30 g dried pears
60 g dried cranberries
60 g whole almonds
60 g pistachios
3. The Dough:
110 g milk (60 g for leaven)
6-7 g dried yeast (18 g fresh)
250 g flour (80 g for leaven)
30 g sugar ( 1 tbsp for leaven)
22 g almond flour (or almond paste)
50 g egg (1 egg)
4 g salt
105 g unsalted butter
120 g marzipan
