Delivered by Dr Warren Dunger, Clinical Neuropsychologist, University of Southampton.
This webinar will explore what we mean by ‘emotional lability’ following brain injury and provide insights into what might help for service users, families and professionals.
Emotional changes are common following a brain injury, but often receive less attention compared to other brain injury symptoms. Changes in how someone expresses or experiences emotions (e.g. becoming easily tearful) can be understandably worrying, particularly if this is a big change from how they were before the brain injury. However, this can be greatly helped by better understanding this common aspect of brain injury recovery and adopting some simple strategies.
