This channel is home to all my musical work including alternate versions, experiments, outtakes, and demos. I wrote this particular piece last year during an improv session on my keyboard, which I always record in case something interesting emerges. I this version I wanted to create a deep, slow-moving, emotional experience that unfortunately came out sounding a lot like backing music for one's last moments on earth. Alas, the Muse is wholly out of my control - all I can do is censor her, but that never ends well for her ongoing participation.
Since 1969 I've written more than 500 songs and instrumentals. Now I'm producing them in studio quality from my original demo recordings in a variety of styles.
When something I'm working on is interesting but not enough for general release, I publish it here for those who want to join me in the creative process.
