In Alex Paknadel's The Death of Doctor Strange: The Avengers #1, readers see the never-ending repercussions of addiction on a person's daily life, with art by Ryan Bodenheim and colors by Rachelle Rosenberg. This is not the only place his addiction is portrayed. It is most famously shown in David Michelinie, Bob Layton, John Romita, Jr., and Carmine Infantino's "Demon in Bottle" from 1979.
