WHAT IS DUALISTIC THINKING - Transcending our judging mind

Описание: Without realizing it people can become extremely judgmental by nature. This dualistic thinking can evolve into racism and can nurture feelings of superiority, grandiosity and a better-than mindset. How it happens is quite natural, developed in childhood, to help us quickly judge situations, people and places as dangerous or safe. As adults if we have not yet learned to be aware and even wary of our judgmental nature it can hone us into something that goes against our core values.

Racism, supremacy, exclusivity, hate for another nation, skin colour or gender all comes from dualistic thinking errors rooted in our ego defence mechanisim's make up. Understanding that we are all one, all the same, even with apparent differences in form needs to be taught and understood for the world to start embracing otherness. We are all mutually inclusive in this world, which in reality, has no borders at all.

The mind loves making a choice between two contrasting world views and it does so in a split second. Waking up consciously to the fact that we can be entirely prejudiced and fully decided in a mindless moment, should at least get us to re-think what we really believe about the contrasts of the other. World wars and history itself has shown us that we need to constantly, continuously and contemplatively re-evaluate our own thoughts, decisions, policies and believe systems.
