AVIATION EDITION 🚁
When a suspect took off running and swam across a canal to avoid capture, our aviation unit, Eagle 1, was already overhead.
As deputies searched on the ground, Eagle 1 became the eye in the sky, tracking the suspect through the woods in the dark. He was found hiding under a truck and trailer—thanks to the coordination between air and ground units. What began as a domestic disturbance call quickly turned into a full-on search in the middle of the night.
📍On a different day, Eagle 1 spotted a traffic stop in progress for passing in a no-passing zone and flew overhead. Two very different calls, same watchful eyes above.
This is why teamwork matters.
