I’m working through different approaches to shaping tone inside a fuzz, how those changes affect feel, dynamics, and how the pedal sits.
The original Embers has an internal bass cut switch for those who find the full range sound to bass-y in a mix - I explore this, as well as a clean blend for the low end, and different low pass filters.
This is part of the ongoing work on Embers, experimenting, listening back, and refining what feels musical rather than just adding options for the sake of it.
I’m currently revisiting Embers, Twin Boost, and Twin Parallel as part of a new Core line and a more stripped back Faded line. That means the current versions won’t be around for much longer. If you like these pedals as they exist now, this is likely the last chance to pick one up.
