Amaramkavu is a Durga temple situated in Idukki district, Kerala. The main idol is Vana Durga. It is surrounded by forest. The temple is surrounded by acres of forest containing 1000 year old trees. The deity is Vana Durga. The trees here, are not taken for any purpopse, say for furniture, firewood etc, even it falls down.

Pooram day in Meenam. Kumbakudam is taken on this day.

Only in mornings.6 to 10 . 30 am. Special evening poojas on Mandalakalam [41 days].
