Senior BJP leader Sameer Das on Monday alleged that Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida stopped responding to phone calls and messages after January 20, despite attending a programme on the 17th. He claimed that party workers who had strongly supported her were later ignored.

Speaking on the issue, Sameer Das said, “We gave 50–55 thousand votes in favour of Prabhati Parida, but our people were not even called for meetings. After the 20th, there was no response to calls or messages.”

The statement points to growing dissatisfaction among local BJP leaders and workers, highlighting concerns over communication and coordination within the party following the elections.
