This video demonstrates a low-cost, practical Submersible Pump Control Kit I designed and built from scratch — complete hardware and firmware. The module is intended for homeowners and small-scale users who cannot afford expensive commercial pump controllers but still need a reliable, feature-rich solution.

Overview

In this first part I introduce the Wi-Fi enabled version of the controller and show real-world installation and operation on my home submersible pump. I fully designed the circuit board and wrote the control software myself. I have been running this system in my house for approximately 2.5 months with continuous, trouble-free operation — and I continue to use it daily.

Integration of a GSM module for SMS-based control and alerts.

Automatic tank overflow shut-off and automatic restart when the tank is empty (level-detection logic).
These enhancements will be covered in subsequent videos/releases — this is Part 1 of the project.

My goal was to produce a real-life, practical controller that:

Delivers core protections found in commercial units (voltage protection, reliable switching).

Keeps cost low so more people can adopt safe pump automation.

Field testing & reliability

The system has been deployed and monitored on my home submersible pump for ~2.5 months.

During that time it has provided stable operation and protective behavior against voltage anomalies.

The firmware is designed for dependable operation and safe recovery after power events.
