Young student Anvesha Mongia, during her talk, shared the data which revealed how accessibility remains a distant dream for the differently abled and how it remains a challenge in a country that got freedom more than 7 decades ago. Anvesha is currently a high school senior at Dikshant International School who is extremely passionate about her community. From single handedly running Samsara Foundation, her NGO, to volunteering with the Red Cross, she wants to bring about real change.
Recently, as president of HOPE club her team along with Anvesha launched project ‘Accessible India’ where they surveyed 80+ public places and campaigned for the Government to bring back inclusive building code.
In summer 2022, she attended the Data Science Academy, a 3-week summer program by Wharton School in Pennsylvania, USA wherein 70 students from across the world participated.
