The Dhamrai Rath Yatra is a historic Rath Yatra of Bangladesh that has been going on since 1672. The Rath Yatra was famous for its 6 storey tall Rath . Many devotees from far and wide came to witness the spectacle . Sadly the old Rath was burnt to ashes by Pakistan Army and Razakars in 1971 but the Yatra continued with new Raths thereafter . The Indian Government in 2010 built another new Rath for the Rath Yatra which is being used in Dhamrai these days .
