*General Notes / Exec Summary / TL;DR*:
Wanted to compare the pre-war with this 1955 Tech. Both ended up giving me very good results. And my first time with RPS Earl Grey.

Razor and Blade Notes - Gillette - Tech Ball-end ::: Gillette - Silver Blue (15 uses):
This Tech is smoother than Pre-war version. Barely feel the blade edge. Sometimes not at all. Obviously, very comfortable.

Cut was only just a little less efficient than the prewar. Barely a difference. Above average for me, so I was very happy with that.

I think I liked the Pre-war a little better. The consistent blade feel just gave me the experience I wanted. And it was a little easier to keep the angle. Maybe sometimes smoother is not always better.

Soap Notes - Reef Point Soaps - Earl Grey & Ginger:
40 sec load on a lightly wet boar brush + 2.5 tsp water as I built it up = enough + 2 passes

Lather was excellent. To me, this is a top tier base. So creamy and slick. Too bad the company had to shut down. I know they had lots of competition, but this soap deserves some accolades and a place near the top. Plus, I found a good many of their scents really enjoyable, including this one

I get an ozone note, but maybe that's just the joining of two other notes. Ginger scent is not very strong, but a supporter (I'm glad about that). Tea is there too, but a bit weak to me. The tea scent is more diluted tea than a piping hot cup of almost bitter tea that has been steeping a bit too long (where I like mine). But all the pieces play together nicely and I really enjoyed it. It's a relaxing and easy going scent, with a bit of what seems like fresh air thrown in, too.

Scent Strength: 4/10, nicely present during the shave.

Brush Notes - Whipped Dog - Boar 24mm:
Enjoy this brush. Need to rotate to him more often.

Cheeks: Near BBS - About as close as I'll ever get
Neck: Cut flush to where I just see the tips (above average for me)
