Our recent excursion to Russia - as part of the Stay True series with Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky - proved bountiful for a number of reasons. Not only because it jammed some of the nation's finest boom bap reps together with a hand-picked selection of America's similarly-inclined elite. But also because it was a tour engulfed in genuine, raucous energy. Relationships were formed and a genuine companionship emerged between the heads involved.
This series of three short films documents the local beats scene, the artists that have built it, and the impressions of a group of US artists on their visit to Moscow.
In this film LA beats producer Samiyam teams up with one of Moscow’s favourite's, Lapti.
