Описание: Hello YouTube!!! Welcome to the second episode of Robert’s Recharged Megacollabs! For this episode, we are going to be ranking Jeff Rosenstock’s fifth and most recent album, HELLMODE! Anyways, enjoy!!!

MY THOUGHTS: This is still one of my favorite albums of 2023. I honestly should’ve put this in at least my top 5 for that year in retrospect because this album just gets better for me every single time I hear it. All of the tracks are at least good without a single lull, the instrumentation and song structures are beautifully well-done, Jeff’s vocals are consistently phenomenal with all the passion in the world to back them up, and the lyricism throughout still resonates with me in an instant like some sort of divine power, and I’m more than happy to call this one of my comfort food albums for when I’m feeling at my worst. Such a shame so few people were willing to partake in this video because this is one of the greatest showcases of punk rock and ska that I’ve heard this decade.

REVIEW: Didn't really get the gimmick too much. I'm not too fond of pop punk and mainstream rock. Also I'm repulsed by that pink cover, kinda shows it's a glamour album. I don't feel like re-listening to it.

REVIEW: Wasn’t sure what to expect coming into this one, but man is this great across the board. Excellent blend of Ska Punk and Indie Rock supplemented with some really powerful vocals that also know when to tone down on subdued moments. The song structures are engaging and there’s a lot of emotion behind each moment here. Definitely believe the hype on this one and it makes me want to check out more of his stuff

REVIEW: So first time listenning to this album. I missed it when it came out last year. And yeah, it's more punk than I expected lmao. Also btw since I'm french I will not focusing on the lyrics, because I can't really focus on it ! The first half goes hard, especially with the electric guitars and the vocal hooks very punk who sticks in the head when played. It remind me a bit of Squid but more serious and less silly, especially Doubt who just sound like a Squid track but without the absolute sillyness who is Ollie Judge. The middle part is sadly a bit less good for me with more filler-ish cut like Soft Living and Life Admin. And after that the last three tracks are great even if Graveyard Song is a bit weak by moments, I Wanna Be Wrong and 3 Summers are suprisingly my two favorite track on it, with guitar rift who goes as hard than the first half but with better sound, better variety especially the closer who is the only track where the more quiet moment is well used lmao. So yeah even if I don't live this as much as other people, it's still great even if run a bit together and that calmer moment are not as good as the rest.
