Yesterday, GitHub added MCP Registry for AI tool discovery. The MCP Registry provides a centralized solution for discovering Model Context Protocol servers and AI development tools. It addresses the key challenge developers face when building AI agents: finding and connecting to the right MCP servers scattered across different platforms and repositories. The registry launched with popular servers including GitHub’s official MCP server for repository management, Microsoft’s Azure MCP Server for cloud resources, and community-contributed servers for various services.

Yesterday, AKS Automatic entered general availability. AKS Automatic offers an experience that makes the most common tasks on Kubernetes fast and frictionless. It provides production-ready clusters by default with hardened security configurations, including Azure RBAC integration, workload identity, deployment safeguards through Azure Policy, and automatic image vulnerability scanning. AKS Automatic handles node provisioning based on workload demands using Node Autoprovisioning, with integrated scaling via Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA), Kubernetes Event Driven Autoscaling (KEDA), and Vertical Pod Autoscaler (VPA). The service operates on the Standard tier with up to 5,000 nodes and includes comprehensive monitoring through managed Prometheus and Container Insights. Azure Kubernetes Service enables you to deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes without the operational complexity.
