In this video, I explain the two most common ways to get a visa to Nigeria — either the E-Visa or the 5-Year Full Visa through the embassy.

Many people reach out asking whether they should apply for the e visa online, or go the longer route to get the multiple-entry Nigerian visa. I break down both options clearly to help you decide what works best.

If you don’t want to visit the embassy or deal with biometrics, then the e visa may be right for you. It’s faster, can be approved online, and you’ll get it in your email, just print it out and fly into Nigeria.

But if you're looking for a 5-year Nigerian visa that allows multiple entries, then you’ll need to go to your nearest embassy (New York, Atlanta, LA, etc.) and complete the full application process including biometrics.

Both visas only allow a 30-day stay at a time, but the difference is in how long the visa is valid for.
