Q.1: छोटू का परिवार कहाँ रहता था?
Ans : छोटू मंगल ग्रह पे रहता था, उसके साथ बहुत सारे लोग रहते थे। जिन सब का घर ज़मीन के नीचे बना था।

Q.2: छोटू को सुरंग में जाने की इजाज़त क्यों नहीं थी? पाठ के आधार पर लिखो।
Ans : छोटू या फिर किसी भी व्यक्ति को उस सुरंग में जाने की इजाज़त नहीं थी क्योंकि उस सुरंग में निरीक्षक यंत्र लगे हुए थे। छोटू के पापा जहां काम करते थे वहाँ के माहौल में आम आदमी नहीं जी सकता था। वहाँ जाने के लिए स्पेस सूट पहन कर जाना पड़ता था।

Q.3: कंट्रोल रूम में जाकर छोटू ने क्या देखा और वहाँ उसने क्या हरकत की?
Ans : छोटू जब कंट्रोल रूम गया तो उसने एक अंतरिक्ष यान देखा। छोटू के पापा ने उसे को कॉन्सोल दिखाया जिस पर बहुत सारे बटन थे। छोटू का पूरा ध्यान उसी पर था क्योंकि उसमें लाल बटन था वह छोटू को आकर्षित कर रहा था। छोटू ने वह लाल बटन दबा दिया जिससे खतरे की घंटी बज गयी। जिसकी वजह से उसके पापा ने थप्पड़ भी मारा।

Q.4: इस कहानी के अनुसार मंगल ग्रह पर कभी आम जन-जीवन था। वह सब नष्ट कैसे हो गया? इसे लिखो।
Ans : एक समय था जब अपने मंगल ग्रह पर पर सभी लोग ज़मीन के ऊपर ही रहते थे। सूरज से रोशनी मिलती थी और जीवों को पोषण भी। बगैर किसी खास किस्म की पोशाक के, ज़मीन पर रहा करते थे। सूरज में परिवर्तन होते ही प्राकृतिक संतुलन बिगड़ गया। पशु-पक्षी, पेड़-पौधें और अन्य जीव उस बदलाव को सहने में असमर्थ हो गए और धीरे-धीरे मरने लगे जिससे वहाँ का सारा जन-जीवन अस्त व्यस्त हो गया।

Q.5: कहानी में अंतरिक्ष यान को किसने भेजा था और क्यों?
Ans : पृथ्वी के वैज्ञानिकों ने अपने एक अंतरिक्ष यान को नासा (नेशनल एअरोनोटिक्स एंड स्पेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन) के द्वारा भेजा था ताकि वह मंगल की मिट्टी के नमूनों को एकत्र करके पृथ्वी पर जांच के लिए मंगवा सके, और उसकी जाँच कर सकें।
