The Apache Solo Display is based at Gilze‑Rijen Air Base in North Brabant.
The display team is (or was) provided by 301 Squadron, also known by the callsign/nickname “Redskins”.
History & Key Points
Formed: The team was founded in 2002 for a one‑off appearance at an airshow at Gilze-Rijen, but later continued more regularly.
Inactivity periods: Between 2005‑2009 the team was inactive because of operational commitments
Design / Paint scheme: The display uses special “demo” liveries / paint (removable) with orange accenting.
