What if I told you this $2000 Damascus chef's knife started its life in a junkyard? In this project, I set out to push the limits of upcycling by forging a premium blade from nothing but discarded materials. Every piece—from the scrap steel for the pattern-welded core to the salvaged materials for the handle—was sourced from actual garbage. Follow the journey from rusty, forgotten scraps to a razor-sharp, breathtaking piece of functional art. It's a test of skill, patience, and a reminder that value is often a matter of perspective.
