In Mandi, a rally was taken out from ITI Chowk to the DC office demanding the government to enact strict laws regarding the safety of women. Various organizations, including Mahila Janwadi Simti and Himachal Gyan Vigyan Simti, unitedly raised their voices. Himachal Gyan Vigyan Simti State Committee member Reena Thakur said that the safety of women is in danger today and recently two women have died in the district after being hit by acid and petrol. She demanded the government to enact strict laws against domestic violence.
