In this Vray for Sketchup Materials Tutorial, we show you how to Create Realistic PBR Materials using PBR Textures. You will also see the difference between the Metalness workflow and the Specular workflow. Learn the meaning behind PBR Textures and understand how they work when creating Metal Materials and Non Metal Materials like Leather or Wood Material inside Vray for Sketchup. The goal is that you will be able to Apply PBR Textures, Modify PBR Textures, and apply in the correct color space so you can get the best rendering results. In this video I used some textures from Poliigon, their resources are a great way to get free vray materials for SketchUp. Photo-Based Rendering as been around for years and is available in Vray Next for SketchUp. The tips in this vray tutorial should apply to vray 3.6 all future releases. I used Vray Next 4.2 for this tutorial and while I'm also happy that vray 5 for SketchUp will be available in the near future, I think these tips will still apply.
