Описание: Sadly this week, my long-abused chart book fell apart, forcing me to buy a new one. But, having recently communicated to Ron about never being able to find this tune about the Mount St. Helens eruption in 1980, he was happy to provide a copy to me, which I was flattered to get! For those who aren't really familiar with the story, Harry Truman was a man who refused to leave his home (at the foot of the mountain) before the volcano blew its top. And when it went...well, that was the last that was heard of Harry. Ron himself didn't pen this #94 hit from 1980, it was instead wrote by a lady named Lula Belle Garland (who also recorded a few singles on the same label, Pacific Challenger). Ron remarked he lost touch with her and doesn't know what happened to her. Now that's nice to have some info on a little-heard song for a change. Enjoy!
