DW8 Empires Scenario - Pious, Exemplary, and Peerless

Описание: Hello, we’re back to the blog. And yes, we’re still in the DW8 Empires Blog Hell, so it’s very much guaranteed that there won’t be a Track Blog today. However, next week, the story will be different. I took a break from this and instead will do a smaller-scale blog next week on Friday, and therefore, it leaves me a room that got opened for a track blog. Like, come on, even I need a break from all of these writings, man.
And even then, after that, there’s still a LOT of impending long blog writing to do still. From the inevitable Jet Lag Season 16 Review to the next season of F1 Livery Reviewing that’s going to come next month. So yeah, things will be quite busy for me in a while, but it is what it is. Let us explore the scenario itself then.

So, what is this scenario all about? Well, the origin story here isn’t exactly clear, but I know one thing that came from an epiphany. Considering that in the past few years, I basically got myself the characters that were in the following list: Wu Shuang Pu (Table of Wu Shuang Pu), Biographies of Exemplary Women, and The Twenty-four Filial Exemplars.

And from there, I got the idea that considering that I spent so much effort in researching and adding them, including to determine if their timeline isn’t too early or late off the Three Kingdoms either. As such, I decided that I need to make full use of what I have in store in them and might as well put up a showdown to determine which of these three Lists of Tales is the best. Unfortunately, though, I cannot be a completely neutral party to this and let them duke it out (this isn’t Football Manager after all), but I still love the idea too much to not do it nonetheless.

Now of course, here’s the proper video demonstration of the characters. Unlike the usual, however, due to the smaller character pool, I’ll just go through the recommended characters who ARE featured in these very tales, followed by the Companions List, which is officers only. But of course, you can always play as anybody else if you like, with the catch that they HAVE to start as Vagabonds from there (Sorry, Pang Tong fans).

As for the BGM though, due to the theme of Tales. I picked the theme for Encyclopedias for Dynasty Warriors 8, the grim and reality-checking “Scrolls.” I was considering Tootoumi – Ii no Ya Castle for this for how much a Female’s role is being used for this Playthrough, but then I realized… 1. The next scenario, The Fictional People, is even more female-heavy for how lacking their prominence is in the Three Kingdoms. And I needed better music for the final battle for this playthrough than freaking “SCROLLS.” So I ended up switching them around.

And of course, here are the scenarios themselves for you to download at your leisure. You can open the RAR and put it into the Documents folder. Then open it in the game to find which one is the Pious, Exemplary, and Peerless Scenario. I also linked to you my CAW Library on Facebook, just in case you don’t want to wait until I finish the Fictional People’s Playthrough (whose protagonist I still kept secret for a while longer) whenever I have future update characters. But man, I can’t wait to get back to these brand-new scenarios to be done soon, okay?
